Or at least I'm not accepting public repair jobs.
It was fun at first, but in this area no one has the money for serious guns. Over the last year I've fixed so many ancient, cheap-ass, piece-of-shit Savage and Stevens rifles I should charge Savage for being a warranty station. I'm only doing custom AR builds and 1911 pistols for now, to keep my FFL going. But I'm moving my house and shop to the Dallas area where the customers won't need to make weekly payments on a $50 repair bill, or try and haggle me down on prices.
Once down there we'll add the engraving business and cerakoting, but for now I'm getting my house ready to sell and getting the hell out of here.
